We just got in from attending the "Gallery Event" for Kelly Barrow...very nice...wine, beer, light hors d'oeuvres...beautiful, unusual setting in downtown Raleigh.
We both have on our pajamas (it's only 5:12 pm) and are settling in for a relaxing evening, we hope.
Family news that we know of: Holly had her first varsity game on Friday night. Jen sent along pictures, along with the message that she was nervous but did great. Was there any doubt?
Brad, Anna, and Andrew were camping at the lake this weekend. We had a great time and Brad learned a lot. The s'mores were delicious, but I think Brad and I were the only ones who thought so. Anna and Andrew were pretty indifferent to that whole part of it, but I guess in time they'll understand the significance of the whole s'mores experience. Brad cooked a great breakfast of coffee, bacon, scrambled eggs, and English muffins, all on his cook stove this morning. Next time, he says he'll try for the grits. Maybe he'll make a blog entry on the experience...hint, hint, Bradley!
Jodi and Courtney were going camping this weekend at Harker's Island, but I haven't heard a report yet. Once again, I'm hoping people will use this forum to post THEIR OWN NEWS!!!!
