American Idol
Hey everyone....it's me...Anonymous. lol! Hopefully I am posting correctly. Just wanted to start a little chat about AI. I know there are SOME people that do not watch it so they will not be able to participate in the chat :) Dancing with the stars starts soon though. So, I said last week I was not all that impressed with David Cook and I thought he was a little disrespectful and arrogant at the end. However Jane told me he did not mean it the way it sounded and that he was embarrassed. And I thought he did GREAT this week! Switching up that Lionel song with the guitar was awesome. As of right now I am liking all 3 Davids + Jason for the guys. Jason did really well on 'Hallelujah' but it wasn't very original. For the girls I still think Ramiele and Syesha can really sing however they have not exactly blown me away yet. My favorite girl is Brooke. Courtney and I thought she was good in her audition with the Corrine Baily Rae song and I thought she was awesome last week with 'Love is a Battlefield' So I still like quite a few of them, but David Archuleta is still my FAVORITE :)

Hi, Anonymous! You did GREAT with your posting. I'm very proud of you! I agree with you about the guys. As for the girls, I'm not blown away yet either, though I agree that some can sing pretty well; I'm just not too sure any of them have that "star-quality" I'm looking for. I liked Amanda the best this week, of the girls, that is. I'm still not happy with Brooke's version of "You're So Vain." but I DO like her; maybe I'll get over it in a week or two. I really liked David Cooke this week too; and though David Archula is my favorite by far, I kind of agreed with Simon this week that I'd like to see him break loose one time with something a little more fun, upbeat, and youthful. I hope some others in the family will chime in with their thoughts, and surely we'll get cranked up next week with DWTS!!!! WooHOO! Can't wait. You'll all be happy to know that Dad and I aren't watching BIG BROTHER this season...can you believe it?
Looking forward to DWTS next week.. Sorry not an AI fan..
