Justice showed up after school today with a VERY wiggly tooth. He informed me that he had been 'workin on it all day!' and that we would be buying some gum today...LOL You see the Layman's (Shannon's family) have a family rule that you can't chew gum until you lose your first tooth...and boy has it been killin' him. So after a few tips from various people, he set off to my room with one of the middle school girls to get the job done...
They showed up outside (where I was on duty) a few minutes later, gap-toothed grinning from ear to ear! He usually wants a candy bar at the gas station when we leave school - today it was gum, we got 3 different kinds just in case. He wanted to know how to blow a bubble but I told him to just work on chewing this week...LOL
A little friend from school, Sophia told him that if he put it in a bowl of water under his pillow he would get some dimes. I told him that it might be a better idea to wrap it in a kleenex and put it under his pillow, and he'd probably get a half dollar - one of those cool big coins!
Needless to say he is thrilled...because as his teacher mentioned, losing this tooth and chewing gum was the thing he has been most looking forward to in life...which today was probably true!

yay toofleth! :)
How much money did the tooth fairy bring? I hear she brings a little more for the first tooth and then the amount decreases the more teeth you loose...
One time the tooth fairy was so busy that she did not pick Hilary's tooth up for 3 days! :) We just waited and waited for her to get to Hilary..I hope she made it to you last night!
Justice thinks he's rich! The tooth fairy brought him $1.50...a REAL half dollar and a crisp new one dollar bill! He couldn't be more proud! But the best part was that he left the tooth on the bathroom windowsill...(After MUCH deliberation) As many of you know, he has great many issues with the likes of mascots, Santa, the Easter Bunny, etc...well the tooth fairy is in the same group..lol. This year we had to call the Easter Bunny and tell him NOT to come in our house (we had to make him promise!) Thank goodness his # is in the 'parent's handbook!' Luckily the windowsill worked just as well :-) and she wasn't too busy!
