A deliberate decision

Some of you may notice that today I deactivated both my Facebook and MySpace accounts. I don't want anybody in our family to think it's because of any of you...it really isn't. I just decided that I waste too much time on these two sites...probably as much as an hour a day if you tally it all up and I'm not getting any value out of that time. All the while I'm telling myself that I don't have time to journal, to exercise, to clean house, etc. Sometimes I read stuff on Facebook and MySpace that I wish I hadn't read...stuff that I wish I didn't know about people. Sometimes I get angry about what I read, but I pretty much keep my mouth shut on those sites. Why waste any emotional or mental energy disagreeing with people that I don't even really care that much about.

I figure that if I keep this family blog site alive, and if anybody ever really looks at it, I can write whatever I want or feel I need to say. Also, ALL of you have been invited (I'm pretty sure...I'll double check) to be authors on this site, meaning that you can post yourself if you want to in addition to commenting on what you read here. You can also upload photos and videos if you want to.

So...all of this is to say, that it was just a personal decision on my part to spend my time communicating with family. Hope you understand!

It IS?? I wonder why! I thought I followed all the directions to delete it. Maybe it takes a little time. Let me know if anybody posts anything on there that I NEED to know about. haha!

As for your password for here...I don't know what to say. I'd like you to be able to post. Do you remember your password for your Lard *** blog? I think the password is the same. But if not, Brad forgot his, so he just started over with a new account or a new password. But if that's too much trouble, I understand.
