Whoda thunk we would have all these BASKETBALL stars in the family?? Congratulations to Hilary for making the ALL STARS TEAM! Way to go, Hil! We are so proud of you!
On a more sobering note, Shannon has been having trouble with her gall bladder lately (on top of all the other stressors she's had to endure...auto accident, Dolly's stroke and recovery, etc...when it rains, it pours, doesn't it?) It's looking like she might have to have surgery, but she won't know for sure until she meets with the surgeon on Friday.
Dad also has been having some trouble. Let's just say that he doesn't want me announcing it on the internet...but he is recovering from a procedure that he had last week and may be facing more work when he goes back to the doctor on March 3...his BIRTHDAY, no less. Poor guy!
Many thanks to Brad for fixing my car! I surely did miss it, but I'm so thankful to have an automotive technician (or two...;) in the family! Thank you, Brad...I feel like myself again in my red van.
That's about all the news I can think of right now...have to get ready for work. If anybody else knows of things happening, I still have hopes of this blog taking on a more INTERACTIVE role...that is to say, surely would like to see you all posting. I miss my Facebook and MySpace accounts for keeping in touch...but I don't REALLY miss them that much. I don't need to keep in touch with the WHOLE UNIVERSE...haha...just y'all!
