I know it's silly, but it really does make me sad that I had to stop playing Farm Town and using Facebook, especially since Mr. Green Jeans (Bob/Dad) just started getting into both. Because I am using my work laptop at the lake, I just don't feel like taking the repeated risk of the virus. This computer has very strong, updated, state-of-the-art virus protection (through my work) and it still got the malware today. I was able to clean it and get rid of everything, but the minute I played Farm Town again, it kept trying to break through. Even though the virus protection was catching it...over and over...it was still annoying, time consuming and disconcerting. I had so much fun playing Farm Town...my family who played it were so entertaining and I really liked my little farm and was almost ready to buy a big farm house.
Anyway, on a more postive note on the same topic, I guess I really was spending too much time on those two sites. Maybe now I can catch up with my reading and also be more conscientious about this blog. It's still bugging me that the members of this blog (my family) are not getting notice of postings the way I thought they were. I must be doing something wrong.
Furthermore, once school starts back in a month, I wouldn't be able to keep up with FB and FT anyway. So...it was a nice diversion for a few weeks, but it's time to grow up and stop playing games, I guess.
I'm so excited about the family's camping event this weekend!
