We're in Raleigh for a couple of days. I have a phone interview this afternoon for a part-time (10 hours per week, via internet) position reading applications for the UNC School of Pharmacy...yes, it's true...I'm being lured to the dark side (Carolina) for a little pocket change. I have also been contacted by NCSU's College of Education for a little work with the student teachers next semester. Nothing definite yet, but I guess I'm not quite ready to cut the apron strings...plus a little more pocket change until I start drawing social security in May.
Jodi and Courtney are coming for dinner tonight, and Jen (and maybe Kelly) for dinner tomorrow night.
On Friday, Bob and I leave for Williamsburg for a week. He found a good deal on a "military" website. We're looking forward to a few days at the resort, just 1.5 miles from Colonial Williamsburg. We'll also go to Busch Gardens and maybe other sites close by. Looking forward to it.
At the end of this month, we will be in the North Carolina mountains for a few days. We'll be spending a couple of nights with Suzanne and Jimmy in Highlands and then probably a couple of nights over the weekend. We hope to catch at least 1/2 of each football game on Friday night...North Buncombe to see Hilary cheer and East Henderson to watch Jay coach. East is playing in Brevard that night, and North Buncombe is at Roberson. Looks like we'll be "traveling" during halftime...haha!
October looks to be spent mostly in Raleigh for Bridge and hockey...if the NHL ever gets their acts together.
I hope to see some of you posting on this family website soon. If you have trouble let me know. I'm still working with permissions, etc. so that people can actually post. Hope to see some family photos soon.
