We have changed our plans for next weekend because of recent developments. Grandma Brocious will be turning 80 in the next few weeks, and this week a colonoscopy revealed the necessity for surgery to remove a tumor in her colon. The surgery will be very soon. An 80th birthday party for her is planned for next Saturday, and we have made reservations to go to PA on Friday and return on Monday. I know you will all be holding Grandma Brocious near and dear to your hearts as she faces this milestone birthday and impending surgery.
I still hope to get a trip to the NC mountains before Thanksgiving.
We plan to be home for Thanksgiving and will be thrilled for all our family members to be at our home for Thanksgiving. As soon as I can wrap my head around it, I will send out more detailed plans. Meanwhile, please know that there will be a Thanksgiving gathering at our home and that all are welcome.

OMG!!!! First of all, Lake Jake is famous!! Second of all our family has been pronouncing the name wrong since the 1800's!! LOL Great share mom!
