At the end of a blog post, you will see a little lavender box with the following:
Posted by Jane (or whoever) at 11:10 No (or a number) Comments pencil icon
Reactions: [ ] funny [ ] interesting [ ] cool
Now, here's the tricky part: To make a comment, you have to click on the WORDS, No comments. Or if there is a number in front of the word Comments, you still click on that.
That is actually a LINK and will open up a box into which you can type your comment. After you type your comment, you will have to "Choose (radio buttons) arn identity" Don't be afraid...this won't hurt!
Your choices will be (I think), Google account, Open ID, Name/URL, Anonymous. The only one I don't really understand is Open ID...so ignore that unless you know what you're doing.
If you choose Google account, it might ask you to sign in, which you can do as you always do.
If you choose Name/URL, it will just allow you to type your name in a box.
If you choose Anonymous, it will show up as an ANONYMOUS commenter. If you feel safer doing it that way, you can always type your name within the comment box if you want people to know it's you.
After "choosing an identity" click on the orange box that says "Publish Comment"
IGNORE THE PENCIL ICON because the only thing that allows you to do is EDIT the post, not make a comment. I think that's confusing, but I didn't design the software...LOL
As for the Reactions section...just click in one of the boxes if you want to give a little comment without typing an actual comment.
Come on now, GIVE IT A TRY...don't be scared!
