We just watched Sophie's Choice (Netflix) for the first time since it first came out in 1982. It's an extraordinary movie; and Meryl Streep is incomparable. It's heart-rending beyond words. I actually think it's better than either Valkyrie, The Reader. Now that we have seen all three of those movies within the last month, I think I'm about done with movies about Nazi Germany for a while. Time to move on to other genres for me.
Did I mention that we saw Bucket List on Friday. It was GREAT! Everybody should see that one!
